1. Information we collect

Account and profile information

We may collect your name, email address, Whatnot username, phone number if you choose to provide it, billing and shipping addresses, account preferences, and authentication information.

Coin Flip inputs and results

When you use Coin Flip, we may process coin photographs, image metadata supplied by your device, voice input or speech transcripts, typed descriptions, year, mint mark, issuer, denomination, coin type, recognition results, catalog matches, label fields, and print activity. You should avoid including unrelated people, documents, or sensitive personal information in coin photographs or voice input.

Subscription and payment information

Stripe or another disclosed payment processor collects and processes payment-card and payment-method information for paid plans. DirteLabel receives billing status, customer and subscription identifiers, invoice information, plan details, payment outcomes, and related transaction metadata. We do not need to store full payment-card numbers on our servers.

Seller and label information

To provide live-selling label automation, we may process marketplace usernames, buyer or winner names, item titles, sale prices, auction or giveaway identifiers, quantities, template selections, label layouts, uploaded logos, and print-history information.

Extension, printer, device, and technical information

We may process browser-extension status, Print Helper and printer configuration, label size, selected templates, connection/readiness information, diagnostic events, usage counts, timestamps, IP address, browser/device information, and error logs needed to operate, secure, measure, and troubleshoot the service.

2. How we use information

• Provide, authenticate, maintain, and improve DirteLabel.
• Analyze coin photos, voice or text input, identify likely coins, retrieve or match numismatic reference information, and populate Coin Flip labels.
• Generate, route, and track labels and related print activity.
• Manage subscriptions, usage limits, trials, promotions, complimentary access, and referral rewards.
• Measure onboarding, identification, printing, and conversion performance so we can improve the product.
• Provide customer support and diagnose technical issues.
• Send transactional messages about verification, accounts, billing, trials, payments, service changes, and security.
• Detect abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and threats to the service.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

3. How information is shared

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate DirteLabel, including hosting, email, payment processing, security, analytics, AI or image/speech recognition, numismatic catalog/data, and infrastructure providers. These providers receive information as needed to perform services for us.

For example, coin images or descriptions may be sent to an AI/recognition provider for identification, and identified coin attributes may be used to match information from a numismatic catalog or reference provider. Provider relationships and technical implementations may change over time.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate protections.

DirteLabel does not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the term and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Marketplace, catalog, AI, and third-party integrations

When you use DirteLabel with Whatnot, an AI/recognition service, a numismatic catalog or data source, or another supported third party, information needed for the requested feature may be processed by that third party. Your use of third-party platforms remains subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and accounting records, improve and troubleshoot the product, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Different categories of information may have different retention periods.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your account credentials and devices.

7. Your choices and rights

You may update many account details through DirteLabel or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

8. Cookies and local browser storage

DirteLabel uses session cookies and browser or extension storage to keep users signed in, preserve settings, track setup progress, support template synchronization, and operate the service. These technologies are used for functional, product, and security purposes.

9. Children

DirteLabel is intended for collectors, sellers, and other general users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as DirteLabel changes. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are posted, and material changes may be communicated through the service or by other appropriate means.
